Well I thought I could put this off till I have my mid-winter break from work (two weeks off), but no I have to replace it this coming weekend. My water pump started leaking, so I'm going to change it and the timing belt at the same time. It's been making noises for about 1 year now, just at idle only, never a peep, over heating etc. otherwise, I first thought it was a bad belt/s when it first started, but checked that out and it they were fine. Ordered the parts should be here by Friday I hopefully. Anyone want to find out how to install one? Your more then welcome to come and see, post up if interested and I'll get in contact with you to set it up.

I have access to alldata. If you want i can find what you need to do from it. I can scan it and put it on here. Do you want it for timing belt and water pump?
UM for those of you who dont know GEO, he has basically every book available for the sol and then some. And hes done this before so i dont think he needs any help. He was just offering to invite anyone to come over and watch him if they wanted to see it done.

But yes anyone that wants to come over and see how it's done is more then welcome. And as Thomas stated, I've done two of them before, so it's no big deal. Thanks Jason and bigboy for the offer of instructions, but I don't think I will need them as I have the Factory Service manual. As I stated I hoped I could put this off till I was off work for mid-winter break which is in two weeks, but no such luck, bad karma I guess.
Robert I'm hoping to do it this weekend on Saturday if the parts come in, (besides you know what's involved as you've been there when I did the other ones), so I can rest Sunday, these old bones don't do to well anymore laying on a concrete floor. So get back with me if you can come over on Saturday, ok? Thanks. Anyone else want to come?

Well it looks like it will be next weekend the 19th before I will be able to get around to it, the parts won't be in till Monday on the 14th. So it's not a go for this weekend. Is that still good for you Robert?
